Mark Peever, B.Sc., PT.
Physiotherapist, Owner
The owner/operator is Mark Peever, a physiotherapist who has been providing clinic or in-home physiotherapy throughout Renfrew County since 1998. Over a career spanning 34 years so far, Mark has kept his treatment skills up-to-date by taking many continuing education courses applicable to his area of practice. Lily Freemark, M.Sc., PT.
Physiotherapist
Lily Freemark, a native of the Ottawa Valley, returned to her home town for work after earning her master’s degree in physiotherapy from McMaster University in 2020. She joined Whitewater Physiotherapy in 2025.
With experience across a range of clinical settings including private practice and inpatient care for stroke and hospital patients, she has developed a diverse skill set in the treatment of cardiorespiratory, neurological and musculoskeletal conditions. Lily is dedicated to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care, focusing on clear communication and tailored interventions to enhance mobility and overall wellness.
In addition to her work with patients, Lily is passionate about education and professional development. She has had the opportunity to mentor and train physiotherapy students from Queen’s University during their clinical placements, fostering the next generation of physiotherapists. Lily is committed to expanding her own knowledge, having taken the following continuing education courses: CPA Orthopaedic Division Advanced Integrated Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy Level 2 Upper and Lower Extremity Certification, Acupuncture Level 1 Certification. Her ongoing pursuit of advanced training allows her to integrate the latest evidence-based practices into her care.
Nicole Lewis, PTA/OTA
Physiotherapy Assistant
Nicole Lewis has been working as a rehabilitation assistant in retirement home, long term care and community settings since completing her PTA/OTA diploma in 2008. She has worked with HouseCalls/Whitewater Physiotherapy since 2015 and covers Petawawa, Pembroke, Eganville, Whitewater Region and Renfrew.
Marianne Bourgeois, B.A., Kin.
Registered Kinesiologist
Marianne Bourgeois is a registered kinesiologist, and provides progressive therapeutic home exercise programs in coordination with the PT, covering Pembroke and Whitewater Region. She has over 20 years of rehabilitation experience, and has been working on a contract/occasional basis for HouseCalls/Whitewater Physiotherapy since 2013.
Gaye Thompson
Administrative Assistant
Gaye Thompson is our administrative assistant. She has 40 years of administrative experience in the dental business and has switched hats to help keep our physiotherapy team on schedule. You can find her at our clinic reception desk Monday to Friday answering phone calls, responding to support emails and providing information about our services.
