Recovery from Work Related Injuries

Whitewater Physiotherapy is registered with WSIB to provide treatment under the musculoskeletal program of care (MSKPOC). We are set up to bill WSIB directly through the Telus Health E-Claims portal. In addition to clinic-based treatment of common injuries, we provide in-home treatment for serious injuries that prevent the worker from attending a clinic. Once able, the worker can progress to clinic- based treatment and we can assist with return-to-work planning in order to maintain continuity of care. Ergonomic changes to the work environment can be recommended after a site assessment.

Mark Peever is trained in the Matheson Approach to ergonomic evaluation and work hardening. Employers may also request ergonomic evaluation of a particular work environment or office to help prevent injuries or to facilitate a worker’s timely return to regular or modified duties.
